After searching this newsgroup, I found that Stephen Labans'
Printlines was what I needed to create a table in an Access report
where the size of the boxes varies depending on the amount of text.
This works great, and I'm very grateful for the help.
Now my problem is that some of the rows of the table need to have
background shading. If I simply turn on background shading for all
detail on the row, there are two problems: first, the shading does not
extend to the bottom of the box in any column but the one with the
text that defines the row height; and second, the shading writes over
the vertical lines in the table.
Is there some way to do background shading for the row? Since the box
is drawn around the row after the text is printed, would shading the
box (BF) overwrite the print? Is there a way to accomplish this?
TIA. I really appreciate the help from this group.
