Version: 2008 Processor: Intel Hi there,
I have a spreadsheet going in excel with rows colour codes (via Formatting pallet / borders & shading / Shading.

Had the program minimised, when i reopened all the colours had changed to varying shades of pink and orange!

When I go back into the formatting pallet and look at the options, they have all changed too to these new shades and none of the old ones are available?

What the? is all i can say? anyone able to help?

Even if I open up a new spreadsheet, I only have the new colours, not the original available.

thanks
Mosh

Sounds like something has switched Themes on you.

Look in the excel help for the topic "Give your Office documents a stylish
look".

Themes are a PITA ‹ all you really need to know about them is how to get rid
of one. Basically, you "can't" have "no theme" but if you set the document
into "Office Theme" (top left corner) it should stay there.

Cheers
