Shading different calendar items

Sue

Does anyone knows how to shade or color different items,
or different categories of items in an Outlook calendar?
I am using Outlook 2000. Thanks!

The only option for this in Outlook 2000 is with Automatic Formatting, and
that can only be done in a table view of the Calendar, not in Day/Week/Month
view. Later versions of Outlook provide color labels which can be used in
D/W/M view.

You might want to take a look at some free Word templates that use your
Outlook calendar data to create a calendar in Word, which you can then
customize to your liking. I personally use My Outlook Calendar and am very
pleased with it. Links to these templates can be found here:

After adding an entry on a single day, or group of days,
right-click and look for the word "Labels". Under labels
you can change the color of the item.

To repeat my earlier reply -- Labels were introduced in Outlook 2002. The
original poster is using Outlook 2000, which had no label feature.
