shadow color

I'm using Pub 2000. If I put a border around something, and add a shadow,
the shadow comes out the same color as the border around the box. If I try
and change the shadow (to plain grey, for example) it changes the border
around the box too.

If I have a colored border (fine line) around something, and want a
plain, grey shadow under it, is this possible?

If I don't put a border around it, just put on a shadow, it's usually
grey? (which is what I want). Can I change the size of the shadow, make it
bigger or smaller?

I don't use the shadow much and don't have much experience with it, but
sometimes it does add to the overall design.

Thanks,
Carrie

=======================
Publisher Help suggests creating
an additional frame the same size
as the original frame.

Fill it with the color you want for a
shadow.

Place it under the original and off-
set it to create your shadow then
lock the two togetner.

Oh, that makes sense.

I thought there might be a simple way I was missing, like something to
click on (LOL)

Thanks
