Shadow lines?

There are lines in the background that I cannot delete. They carry over when
I import the drawing into other formats. When I click them nothing happens.
I've tried adjusting shadows and eliminating backgrounds, but nothing gets
rid of these light gray lines. The light gray lines look like original
connectors before I formatted it to look like I wanted, but I do not want
them visible.
