We have discovered that when using PowerPoint:mac version 11.2.4(060501) on
different machines we get different results with applying a shadow to
graphics. It doesn't matter whether or not it is a PNG, GIF or JPG every
image results in the same...as soon as you apply a shadow and adjust the
softness to 1 or more the shadow is extremely blocky. When adjusting the
softness to 0 the blockyness goes away. This happens on most but not all of
the machines running this same version of PowerPoint. The shadow looks fine
when applying it to the image alone, but when making applying transparency to
the background color or bringing in an image with transparency already
applied we get this blocky shadow around the detail of the image. Any help
with this would be greatly appreciated.
