Shadow Styles

Hi everyone!

I'm having a problem with a PowerPoint document I was hoping you could help
with, for some reason in a document a user has been using for a long time its
suddenly started applying a Shadow Style to every new text box thats created.
I can turn it off but if i view the Shadow Style toolbar it shows it as on
but doesnt allow me to turn it off, all optinos are greyed out. Any help
would be greatly appreciated.

Select the textbox, then click Format > Font.
Under Effects, check if Shadow has been selected.
If so, uncheck it.
Put a checkmark on Default for new objects.
Click ok.

The shadow appears since that is set as default formating for new shapes.
For shapes:
1. Select the shape.
2. Turn the shadow formatting off.
3. Right-click the shape and select - Set autoshape defaults.

Try drawing a new shape, this should now draw without the shadow effect.
