Shape Data_Callout_Text_Resizing

Hi All

Another text sizing issue I'm afraid but I think this may be a new one.

I have a basic rectangle with 5-off callouts and 3-off headings associated
with it using Shape Data.
I have used the following formula in Shape Sheet / Character Size:

=CEILING(6*MAX(Width,Height),2)*1 pt

To resize text as I resize shape... Results:

Text in headings resizes
Label from callout resizes
Value from callout does not resize

Any ideas?

Other info:

Visio 2007
Values are numeric: general numbers or percentages
Headings are text strings

Regards,

Danny

Hi Thanks for the quick response, I've spent a few hours trawling through
both sites that you recommended and I found a lot of good information
unfortunately nothing that will help me with this current situation.

So far, based upon your info, that ought to work. How are you making the
text, label, and value visible in the shape? Is there any grouping or
somehow the value is handled differently?

Hi Wapper

I created a single rectangle
Right click rectangle, Data, Shape Data
Message: No Shape Data exists. Do you want to define shape data now? Yes
I created 8 Labels using the Define Shape Data "Wizard"
Right Click Shape, Data, Edit Data Graphic, New Item, Text
Created 8 new text items, 3-off Headings, 5-off Call Outs
Positioned the items on or beneath the original rectangle
Added 3 other shapes to the rectangle (no grouping)
Created a master shape and copied the whole thing to master shape
Dragged shape into drawing
Enlarged shape, text did not resize
Copied formula into Shape Sheet for master shape
Dragged new shape into drawing, all text re-sized apart from the values in
the callout.

I really can't see what I've done wrong or what to change.
