Shape Group

I am creating a group by using two shapes, one a Rectangle or circle and the
other a textbox.

I am able to select each sub-item on second click and the group on the
first. I have denied the text edit property for the Group and that on the
Rectangle/Circle, but not for textbox. On setting the text for the group the
text value goes to the TextBox.

My need is I should be able to reposition the TextBox but not the Other
Shape, i.e., either Rectangle or Circle, when I drag them. means the Rectange
or Circle Shape should not be able to move on dragging.

Plz. Help.

For each of the sub shapes, you can lock their position. Are you using the
Text Tool to reposition the text? (It's the A with an arrow around it - (
behind the text tool))

No, It is a text shape that I have created by simply pasting a string of
characters and creating a master of it.

You can move the text of a shape by using the text block tool.
