Shape name

Hello,

I am trying to get rid of the automatic shape name that comes with each new
shape, like Process.23 or Preparation.18 . It shows up in the custom
properties window, and I don't want my readers to bother about that.
Is it possible to get rid of this automatic name or - even better - have the
shape named from the shape text?

shape names are crucial to how visio works, they must be unique. you have
the opportunity to create your own views of properties as well as changing
them to something your feel more appropriate, via code.
