Shape Selected

I'm using C# and having a trouble determining the correct event to attach to
so that I can be notified when a shape has been selected. When a shape has
been selected I would like to display a custom properties window (this part
i've done).

Thanks for the help.

I took a look at this and i'm wondering why the event fires 10 times for
simply dragging an item onto the canvas?
