Shape Type Question

I'm not sure which discussion group to post this question in.

I did a database export of a diagram and couldn't find the shape type
(rectange, circle, etc). Is there an easy way to get this information
exported into a database?

Hi Terry,

usually, a shape has a "master shape" whose name can be accessed via a shape
property. This master shape can be considered as shape type.

However, as far as I know, basic shapes (rectangles, circles, etc.) do not
have a master shape and therefore no shape type. The only difference between
those shapes is their geometry.

From what I can tell, shape properties aren't exported by the database export
process. I can get to them through code, but not through the database export
table created by the built-in wizard.
