Shapes and Graphics Won't Print

The shapes and graphics show on screen in print preview, but don't print..

I'm new to Word 2007 and I haven't been able to figure it out or find it
addressed in the help topics.

Thanks for any help

If they show in Print Preview they _should_ print... Are you sure you're in
Print Preview & not Print Layout View? Have you checked to see if there's an
updated driver for your printer?

Also, make sure that in Office>Word Options>Display - Printing Options that
"Print drawings created in Word" is checked.

thanks... they "should" print.. :)

the option is checked...

i did download the new driver.. still doesn't print...

i feel like there must be an option i'm not checking, but i've tried them
all...

The only other thing I can figure is that there may be some sort of setting
in the printer's Options that needs to be changed... Perhaps something that
was set differently or wasn't even there in the former driver.

That's why I asked about Print Preview v. Print Layout View - the latter is
basically Word saying "this is what I'm sending to the printer" whereas
Preview is actually generated by the printer driver - more like the printer
saying "...and this is what I'm going to do with it". If the driver draws it
on the screen it's getting the info, so there may be a problem with the
printer, the cable or the new driver may be buggy.
