I am using Visio 2003 but had the same problem with Visio 2002.
I am using cross-functional flowcharts to define procedures. I will lay the drawing out, save & close the drawing. When I re-open the drawing I find that the shapes are all over the place and the functional bands have also moved. In many cases I can't re-arrange the shapes without going to the shapesheet and entering each X-Y coordinate for size and position.
In all cases, the coordinates are defined in terms relative to another parameter. I thought I had fixed the problem in Vis2002 by turning off 'Enable Live Dynamics'. That does not seem to work with Vis2003.
Is there a simple fix or a way to turn off all dynamic relationships so that each band and shape are defined in absolute terms which I can control.
