ShapeStudio setup problem

Using Visio for Enterprise Architects (11.4301.6568).
Installs Visio sdk (11.0.3730.5614) and try to run the ShapeStudio Database
Administration tool (SSAdmin.exe) which crashes with "Buffer overrun
detected".

Logged in as Administrator directly on the Server (2003) machine where SQL
server 2005 is installed and running.

Any idea ?

The setting up ShapeStudio is said a bit complicated, i forgot it all.
But now there is a document "Getting Started Developing Shapes in Visio 2003
ShapeStudio" at

But the chapter "Setting Up ShapeStudio" shows exactly the same info as the
installed file "Readme ShapeStudio.htm" which directs me to run SSAdmin.exe
which crashes...

Any more ideas ?

investigating.

I'm also having this problem. In the meantime, until the Visio team
figures it out, what are my options? Can I run MSDE 2000? And if so,
is it compatible with the shapes database that I created prior to
upgrading to SQL 2005?
