Share a stencil amongst team members

Hello,

My team members and I would like to work from a common stencil containing
frequently used shapes. We'd all like to be able to add to this stencil and
see changes that are made by others.

My first thought was to save the stencil on a networked folder, so that we
could all open it. However, it seems that only one of us can have the stencil
open at the time.

Is there a better way to make use of a common stencil?

Put "master" stencil under control of one person who makes changes, updates
change log, and distributes updated stencil versions to members...or rotate
the job weekly. Others submit changes to "master" "owner".

Suggest stencil has ver.no. and date as one of the stencil objects and have
a common place for all to know which is the latest version and how to get a
copy.

Just like s/w release control.
