Share Exchange Calendar outside domain

Hello

I'm trying to share an Exchange mailbox with a user not on our domain. I
was thinking Net Folders, but research informs that Net Folders do not work
on folders in a mailbox.

I see no option on OWA to access the shared calendar. As well, it is not
practical to give the external user a VPN account and a mailbox herself.

Is anyone able to offer suggestions that I am not aware of?
