I am operating a laptop with Windows XP Professional
operating system and using MS Outlook 2002 for managing
emails. When I worked with previous version of Outlook I
was able to SHARE (option available under FILE on the
menu bar) my home Outlook calendar with my work Outlook
calendar, thus my home computer and work computer where
sycn and automatically updating each other via the
Internet through my dail up Internet provide at home and
network server at work.
My question is since I purchase a new home
computer/laptop with MS Outlook 2002 on it, the option to
SHARE a folder under the FILE on the menu bar does not
appear, nor can I find the "NET FOLDER" compotent of
Office. When my work computer sends an invitation to
subscribe my new home computer receives the following
email stating ". . . If there is no Accept button on this
form, then you need to install the Net Folders component
which comes with Outlook 98 or newer versions of Office.
To do so, go to the Control Panel, select Add/Remove
Programs, then choose Microsoft Outlook or Microsoft
Office. From there add the Net Folders component." I
installed all compentents of Office XP onto my computer
but I still can not find the "NET FOLDER" component.
Thanks,
Mike
