Share My Calendar and Open a shared calendar links are missing

S

stepfull

I have an exchange acount and able to work around these missing links, but
it's a pain in the neck.

Why are the links for "share my calendar" and "open a shared calendar"
missing?

I saw something elsewhere on line that indicated it might be because my mail
is sent to my personal folders. I'm not willing to change that - it just
isn't an option.

It shouldn't matter where my incoming mail goes anyway - seems like that
would have nothing at all to do with it. The key thing ought to be having an
active exchange account, which I do.

Any ideas?

You can't share folders in a pst so the links are not present. Can you open
shared calendar using the File, Open menu? (Assuming your coworkers are
using exchange mailboxes, not pst)

Took me a while to figure out, since one should do this through
File...Open...Other User's Folder and NOT File...Open...Calendar.

Completely non-intuitive and confusing.

But yes, that will work.

Next question: A colleague has given me permission to view his calendar,
but the system still tells me that I don't have that permission. Others who
were invited at the same time have no problem seeing his calendar.

By the way, the link you sent in your initial reply didn't work - just took
me to a blank page. I had to do a search in the forum to find your reply.

Thanks!
