One of my project managers added a link to the Quick Launch area in the WSS
project page. I can not find where to remove it, and he doesn't remember how
he did it. Does anyone know where this is?

Follow this:

1. Click that link in Qucik Launch area
2. On next page click 'Modify settings and columns' on the left
3. Under General Settings page click 'Change general settings '
4. Under Navigation section click NO for 'Display this list on the Quick
Launch bar'
5. Click OK
6. & enjoy

That will work if it is a link to a WSS List (or Library).

If however it's just a link to something else (say http://www.ibm.com) then
Robert can't get rid of it in that way but will have to open the site in FP
2003; open default.aspx; select the Quick Launch section; right-click;
select the aptly named item about half way down when he will be able to
amend the links (including removing them).
