Shared Access to Accounts and Business Contacts

I am in the process of getting BCM installed on a total of 13 separate
computers with a shared database to replace our version of ACT!4.0. Is there
anyway that I can identify a specific account with an Account Executive
(staff member)? In our ACT! database, all of our accounts were "assigned" to
a specific AE. I know that having the database shared, everyone will be able
to see all of the accounts, but how do I "attach" an account with a specific
AE? The sooner I can get an answer to this question, the sooner we can be up
and running! Thanks for any help anyone can offer!

Judi:

You'll need to export the ACT data to a CSV or Excel format to begin with.
The Record Manager field in ACT "should" come across and you can map that
field into a custom field you create. That would allow you to know who the
AE was in ACT, and you could then change the Assign To field in BCM to match
that. Unfortunately, it's a manual process...

Lon
