shared borders/interactive buttons

I have ready up and down these articles about the pros and cons about using a
shared border format for creating a new website. The reason I chose it was
because FP 03 created my directions as I am creating my first site.

The question I have is you are using this format can you change the color of
the shared border interactive buttons? I have changed all color/font on my
body and bottom footer that was created by default. However, the left border
that has the pre-made style interactive buttons is a dark orange color and I
would like to change them to a blue.

Any suggestions?

I suspect you mean the nav bar buttons created in your shared borders
(not FP Interactive Buttons - which are not supported in shared borders)
The Nav buttons are normally styled from your Theme applied to the Site
Use Format Theme and Select another theme,
or use Format Theme Modify/Customize and use your own custom images for the buttons
