Software:
Server: Exchange 2003 with multiple stores
Client: Outlook 2003
Problem:
(The following only seems to effect those that HAD NOT set the system clock
on their worksations to adjust for daylight savings time)
When an appointment is made from one of the machines listed above onto a
shared calendar, it posts to the shared calendar an hour later than
originally set. (ie. A secretary will have her supervisors calendar opened on
her computer and when she makes an appointment on her supervisor's calendar,
it appears on her screen correctly, but appears on the supervisor's calendar
as an hour later than it should be set.)
Steps taken:
1.Added the check for the system clock to adjust for daylight savings time,
but this moves everything on the secretary's calendar and her view of the
supervisor's calendar up an hour.
2.Rolled system clock back before daylight savings time, added the check
mark and restarted the computer but the system comes back on line with the
correct date and time but not a check mark to adjust for daylight savings.
3.Uninstalled Office 2003 Pro, and then reinstalled. Ran all Office updates.
4.Deleted user profile on the workstation but Exchange must keep the
setttings because when the user is set up again, the same problem still
exists.
5.Verified time zone settings in Outlook and system clock.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
