Shared Contacts/Categories

I set up a contacts folder (has 1000 names in it) in
public folders. There are 3 computers that access this
same contact list. All of the contacts are seperated into
categories. When I installed a new machine with Outlook
2003 on it, I reconnected the shared contacts and the
categories are different than the other two machines. Do
categories stay then on the machine they are on or at
least with the logon identity?

Anyone have any idea?

Each item can be "stamped" with multiple categories, and each Windows user
has their own "master category list." The two won't necessarily be the same.
