Shared Documents in PWA 2007

Hello,
I'm trying to Checkout a shared document (Word) in PWA 2007 and to save it
so that I expect to create a new version, but the item "Version history"
doesn't appear in the drop down menu of this document. What did I missed?
Thanks for any idea.
