Shared documents

Trinity Lutheran Church

Over the weekend someone moved all the documents
to "shared" files and now NO ONE can open them, not even
the person who did it. Evidently, they made them shared
folders without the ability to CHANGE them and then
DELETED all the original files. Is there ANY way to open
them?
