Shared Library Error

I get the following error on launch of any Office applications. I reinstalled the software and same effect. What do I do?

The application "Word" could not be launched because of a shared library error: "5<Microsoft Word><CarbonLib><CFMPriv_CoreFoundation><>"

One of the files in your software is at the wrong version.

When you re-install, you do not change any files that already exist on your
computer.

Go to the Microsoft site, download and apply Update 10.1.9. I believe that
will resolve your issue by replacing one or more of the old file. Office X
needs its frameworks updated to run under OS 10.4.
