Shared location for design template

Hope someone can help with this one.

I can save a ppt as a design template and store it in the templates folder,
so that it is visible in the Task Pane.

HOwever, is it possible to specify a shared network folder in addition to
the Templates folder, that I can use to store design templates?This would
have the added advantage that my colleagues could also save design templates
to this shared drive and we could therefore easily share design templates?
