Shared mailbox - see other address books

Hello out there,
we use Exchange 2007 and most users use Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007. We
have created a shared mailbox where we put in all relevant company contacts
and to this shared mailbox have all users access.
Now the problem: The users have in their outlook all 2 mailboxes and then
wants to creat an email using one or more contacts of the shared mailbox they
have access to, but they cannot select the contacts of the shared mailbox in
the address book, only their owns. Does anyone know how they can see and
select also the contacts of the shared mailbox in the address book?
The possibility Sue Mosher writes does not work, because it´s a shared
mailbox and a shared mailbox do not have a password to log on. But maybe
there´s another way we can realize this.

Many thanks in advance
Alex

Hello Alex,
Right-click on the shared addressbook--> Properties-->Outlook-Addressbook-->
tick to show it in the addressbook-->OK

Hope it helps,

Niki

Shared mailbox - see other address books

Thanks Niki,
unfortunately it didn´t work as you wrote, because in the properties of the
contact folder of the shared mailbox there are no panel named
Outlook-Addressbook (at the contrary to the contact folder (properties) of my
own mailbox).
Maybe there is another way, because I think a lot of people may have this
problem.

Thank´s a lot.

Thank´s Niki,
unfortunately this didn´t work, because in the contact folder of the shared
mailbox there is in the properties of the contacts no panel named
Outlook-Addressbook (on the contrary in my own contact folder).
Hopefully there is another solution out there and someone knows, because
this problem will have a lot of people, I guess.

Thank´s in advance
Alex
