Shared Notebook on server auto moved or copied to another location

We are running OneNote 2007 with some shared notebooks that are stored on a
network drive in DFS. There are times when the notebooks move to another
location on the same drive and times when it seems to be replicated much in
the same way. Has anyone seen this before?

Users of the software are not doing any of it, just seems to happen on it's
own, thanks.

Is there any particular pattern?

When the Notebooks are moved, is to an existing directory or does it create
one? What is the folder name?

You can use Windows Server files & folder auditing to discover more details
on the activity of these files being moved.
You could also change the permissions of the OneNote folder/files to permit
only read/write/create, but not full control.
