hi,

we plan to use ON2007 for week-long, design brainstorms across our R&D dept.

but as the page expands with inputs over the week, it becomes difficult to
see the latest entries...

is it possible to have each persons entry automatically place their name and
date nearby?

The name and date is there, but it's not very obvious (you have to
right-click the object). How about asking each person to write or type in a
different color? How many users are we talking about?

Not automatically.
But there's a toolbar icon for a date+time stamp and it would not be too
difficult if the author puts his initials at the end of his paragraph.

thanks, we have around 10 people in any one brainstorm session (we are
currently using ON2003 but are buying 2007 very soon) - we call them
"extra-time brainstorms"

it works very well because it gives people time to think about the problem
at their desk but they can still collaborate by seeing what other people are
submitting over the course of the week

it also allows the innovation-facillitator (me) to run more than one session
con-currently

a diff colour might work, and we do write our names at the end of each
submission - but after a few days, the page gets filled with lots of
ideas/pictures/sketches and it would be useful to quickly see the latest
submission

Only thing I can think of for the timing thing would be to require everybody
to add to the bottom of the page; then you could work up from the bottom to
see the latest. I know that's not a great solution but...

OneNote 2007 will be FAR superior for this application, by the way.
