Shared PST File

I am using Outlook with PublicShareFolder and it is working well.

I would only like to see the shared PST file on the client PC's.

As it is now, I must click on the shared folder, in Navigation Pane, and
close the Personal File (local).

I just do not want to display the local PST, as it's empty anyway.

Thanks.

If you can't close the folder and leave it closed, with everything working
properly, you'll need to check with the PublicShareFolder application
developers for support. (I'm not familiar with this product, sorry).

It's not the shared folder I wish to close.

I wish to use the shared folder as the default folder on a client machine,
instead of the local PST file.

Thanks for your reply.

Other people's shared folders can't be delivery locations.

Dear Al,

please use for the next support question the forum on
http://www.publicshareware.com or send an email to our support email address
because this is a forum of Microsoft. ;-)
I am using Outlook with PublicShareFolder and it is working well.

Thank you.

Sorry but this is not possible because Outlook needs the Personal Folders
for a clear identification of the sender email. If all users in a network
could send an email only over a Public Folder who ordered the Ferrari or the
1st class travel round the world?

Also Exchange needs a Personal Mailbox for every user.

Sorry but this is a condition of Outlook.
