shared workbook

I have a customer that when they open a shared excel workbook, excel closes.
When I open the spreadsheet up and check under shared - to see who has it
open it lists the customer as having the spreadsheet open for the last 4
days. If I unshare the workbook the customer can work without problems.

Hi

You will often find that the share history gets corrupted. It sometimes
shows that one user has the file open as many as six times. Doing your
workaround at least once a week seems to take care of the problem though.
Since the cursor position remains at the last unshared save, I consider it
good practice to often unshare a workbook, and to share it again the next
morning when I open it again.
