SharePoint 3.0 and Excel 2007

Simple question...with Sharepoint 3.0 and Excel 2007, I know that when
I edit any document in Excel then I can check the spreadsheet back
into Sharepoint. Can I also edit the properties in Excel too? If so,
how?
