SharePoint and Word Startup path

Hello,

Hope someone can help me with a problem I have. I want to store my global
template (with macro's) in a SharePoint enviroment. I know that i can access
this location the \\sharepointpath\documentlib way..... But I Can't use this
webpath in my startup options from word. So this way i can't automaticly
start a template. What I can do is use a drive mapping to map a drive letter
to this location and then use this drive letter in the Word options. But my
client's enviroment does not permit this. Is there a other solution???
