I have 2 servers; 1 SharePoint Portal Server 2003 and another 1 on which I
want to install Project Server 2003.
I receive this message when trying to install the WSS Configuration Wizrd of
the Project Server 2003 installation on my SharePoint box.
"SharePoint Configuration Wizard cannot create the
MS_ProjectServer_PublicDocuments site with the template that you have
selected. You must use the Project Workspace template or any other template
you have created by using the Project Workspace template. Ensure that the
template has been installed into the correct directory, and then run the
SharePoint Configuration Wizard again."
However, I was able to install a fresh WSS w/ SP1 instance on my Project box
and everything was peachy. Are SharePoint 2003 and Project 2003 not meant to
coexist? Are my hopes of having all my WSS sites on one box crushed? Can
the Project Workspace template not be installed on the SharePoint box? Did I
miss some fine print in the gigantic Installation Guide? It's possible. Any
ideas???
