Hi Nico,
There are two 'sister' programs. Microsoft Office Sharepoint Designer and Microsoft Expression Web among its end user tools that
replaced the previous Microsoft Office FrontPage program. Which of these would be appropriate to use for maintaining your website
may depend on the sites goals, structure and content. Office Sharepoint Designer 2007
(info, demos, short training walkthroughs at
http://office.microsoft.com/sharepoint) has features for maintaining a website that
uses Microsoft Office SharePoint's feature set (
http://microsoft.com/sharepoint) for collaborating on documents/projects.
Information on Microsoft Expression is available at
http://microsoft.com/expression.
You may want to use the link below to also post in the Microsoft Office SharePoint Designer discussion group for information on how
to choose and include when posting there a link to your website and/or information on the types of information you would see
using/displaying and how often things would need to change on the website.
Questions on 'easy' and 'sufficient' may be somewhat subjective as folks wouldn't know your level of experience in using/installing
software or developing a web site
Generally, installing Office Sharepoint Designer is about the same as the Office 2007 product
series and only the folks who would be doing maintenance, changing on the website would need to have it.
It isn't necessary to use for website visitors.
