Sharepoint Designer: Showing Totals in a List

Let me start off by saying I am a brand new user to SharePoint Designer and
to overall SharePoint design except for using the web interface.

I've created a List view and I want to show the total revenue when the
grouping is collapsed but for some reason, I cannot select "Total Revenue" in
the Totals section when in Edit View mode. The field is a calculated field
but I wouldn't think that had anything to do with it.

What am I doing wrong?

FYI...I am using SharePoint 2.0 and have no control on upgrading to 3.0.
