SharePoint doesn't accept administrator logon and password

I'm using Infopath to upload a form. However, SharePoint doesn't accept
administrator logon and password. However, I can sign on to the Sharepoint
server using the same logon and passwordl.

Is this a Windows logon account? And does the site to which you are trying to
upload the form support Windows authentication?
