sharepoint error?

From "View and Upload Documents" (Web Access for Project Server 2002), I
click "Send For Review" and get the following error message: "Send for
Review requires a SharePoint-compatible application and Microsoft Internet
Explorer 4.0 or greater.". I have Office 2003 loaded and am using IE 6
service pack 2.

Anyone know what's wrong?

Try going to Control panel > Add Remove Programs and remove the office web
components. Retry hitting the SharePoint site and the controls should
reactivate. If you had Office 2000 or 97 on the computer prior to upgrading
to 2003, it's conceivable that your OWCs are activated in runtime mode.

Thanks Gary. Unfortunately I didn't recognize the office web components and
therefore wasn't able to remove them. Do you recall their name as listed
within the Add Remove Programs display?

Unfortunately, they're called Office Web Components, so if you're not seeing
them, this is not the problem. Is your Sharepoint site a trusted site? For
some reason your system is not recognizing that you have Office 2003.

Actually, everything (including Sharepoint) is installed on the same server.
But yes, it is a trusted site.
