Sharepoint functions

Hello,

We're running Project 2002 Pro with Project Server 2000
and Windows 2000. We are a little confused about the
roles of Web Access and SharePoint. There seems to be
overlap in their functions. We want to know which page
to point our programmers to, and which to point our
stakeholders. My understanding is Sharepoint for the
stakeholders, Web Access for programmers. But the issues
in Sharepoint seem to be for programmers too.
