It appears that InfoPath does not provide direct support for the following
(like Word does for example):
1) Document Properties (metadata).
2) Auto-prompting for document properties when saving a form just created
from the form library template.
3) Check-in support when saving a Checked-out document you opened from a
form lib.
For 1) it probably would have had to be a separate XML file CAB'd into the
XSN file. Numbers 2) and 3) are less obvious.
