Hi - I am having a problem with SharePoint list data connections: when the
rich client opens the form (instead of browser form opening), the links
created to open the data connections do not work. It seems InfoPath creates
relative links and they aren't functional when on the client. Aaargh!
Which leads to my two part question:
1. Is there any way to force a form to always open in the browser,
regardless of whether the client has InfoPath installed? I have succeeded
from the form library and email links. But there are times, such as when
accessed from other web parts, that no matter what link I specify, the form
opens in the rich client.
2. Is there a way to create my SharePoint list data connections so that they
will not error when opened from the Rich Client? Do I modify the form outside
of InfoPath, for instance? Is there a configuration setting to use full URLs?
Thanks,
Jim
