Sharepoint Multi-Choice List and InfoPath dropdown box

Eric

I'm populating a dropdown box in InfoPath with a data connection that
accesses a Sharepoint List. The column in the Sharepoint List that I
wish to display in the dropdown box is a multi-choice column or
checkbox. When it displays in the drop down box the display names look
something like this all on one line:

;#John;#Jane;#Bob

How can I format the dropdown box to display the sharepoint list
properly? I've seen stuff on the internet where people have fixed this
in Front Page but I have not had any success in doing this in InfoPath.
I'm guessing you have to modify the XSL file but I'm not sure on what
to add or change. Please help! Thank you.

Hi Eric,
Is this the SharePoint list for contacts. That has some special
considerations. Matthew Blain spends 2+ pages in "Developing Solutions with
Microsoft InfoPath" (MS Learning) describing how to do this (pages 283-285).
I don't have time to type it in now, but I believe it works well.

No, that's not really what I was looking for. This is a list I created
myself. I'm having problems with that one column because it is a
multichoice column. I just need to know how to format data in a
dropdown box in InfoPath. Thank you though.
