I have my operation configured with Project Server, SQL Server, and
Sharepoint all on a single machine. Project Server and SharePoint interact
with no problems. However, I've noticed that when I click on
Start|Administrative Tools|SharePoint Portal Server Administration, I get
prompted for my userid and password several times (I use the project server
id and password), and then I get the following error:
"unable to open the SharePoint Portal Server named <my server name>"
SharePoint Portal Server Administration then opens, but reports that there
are no items to show in this view.
It occurs to me that this might be the correct behavior since the
administration function is now carried out from Project Server
Administration, but I'd like to verify this.
Thanks in advance,
Bob
