Sharepoint Portal Server(SPS) with Project Server and Team Service

My company wants to implement Project Server 2003. We had planned to
implement Sharepoint Portal Server(SPS) in the near future. I need to know
if I need to move up the implemetation of SPS in conjunction wiht Project
server and Team services or can I wait and add SPS on top of Project server
and Team services at a later date.
Has anyone installed the SPS on top of Team services and Project server? If
so, What was the experience like? How much harder is it than doing all of it
at once?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
