SharePoint Portal

Hi All,

I have a question regarding the Sharepoint Portal. We have created a
portal for our project, which has been designed to post events,
weblinks, etc. The idea was to have one site where everyone could
access everything they needed.

We are also using MS Project PWA as well.

Our question is can we link our tasks in the PWA to the task list
SharePoint Portal? (We also did not know that each file in the PWA
made its own portal. ) I noticed in an earlier by using the SharePoint
Portal feature on top of the PWA was layering.

(Slowly figuring all this out. Versions currently is 2003 for both
programs, soon to be upgraded to 2007.)

Thanks! If I confused you, let me know.

You may be mixing terminology here, so it makes your post difficult to
respond to. Are you using Portal Server or simply WSS? Project Server uses
WSS, not Portal Server to create project team sites. Project Server 2003
does not support the scheme you describe. Project Server 2007 does support
this by allowing you to make the project sites a subsite of another
SharePoint site. Understand that this means each project has its own site
under the master site.
