I just added a second database to my project server installation. So now I
have the default 'ProjectServer' and the new 'Development'
(http://myserver/projectserver and http://myserver/development). The
Sharepoint public document site for projectserver is
"http://myserver/sites/MS_ProjectServer_PublicDocuments" and for development
it is: "http://myserver/sites/Development_MS_ProjectServer_PublicDocuments".
Problem is the second one doesn't work EVEN THOUGH projects published to
"development" correctly create new sharepoint sites for their projects. When
I click on http://myserver/sites/Development_MS_ProjectServer_PublicDocuments
I get the error "The Web site that is referenced here is not in the
configuration database."
Looking at the site information in IIS manager, it appears that they both
have the same path which is "D:\Program Files\Microsoft Office Project Server
2003\IIS Virtual Root\"
My ultimate reason for fixing this problem is that I want to have a
different template for the project workspace for the "development" PWA
because I'd like to make it visibly apparent when one is connected to the
"projectserver" database as opposed to the "development" database so people
don't mess things up like the enterprise resource pools.
Can anyone tell me how to fix this or at least change the template for the
development web?
Thanks for your help
