Sharepoint Public Documents web site Project 2003

I can access Sharepoint directly via an IE window and I can get to the
Central Administration with no problem In Project 2003 Admin under the
"connect to SharePoint screen" - the "test url" works fine. All other parts
of SharePoint appear to be working fine.
All that said, I am getting the error message: "SharePoint team website for
"Public Documents" does not exist." How do I set that up?

In PWa > Admin > 'Connect to SharePoint server' what do you have in 'Create a
site under this SharePoint URL' field?

If you have a url in that field, you will see hyperlink to public documents
site under that section. Say if you have http://myprojectserver:8083/sites/
as the URL in the above field, you will see (
http://projectdev:8080/sites/MS_ProjectServer_PublicDocuments ) as the url
below.

If the site doesn't exist, then go to 'Manage SharePoint sites' page, click
the public documents under 'Project Name' column & hit create. That will
create the public documents site.
