SharePoint Services has overridden all my websites

Hi,
I have finally got Project Server up and running on Windows Server 2003 -
it's taken some doing!
Now I have a directly related problem.
Since installing Windows SharePoint Services on this server, all of the
existing websites that were running fine on there no longer work!

Have I missed something obvious?

Please advise - I need these websites working on this server...

Just to add to this post - the message I get now when trying to access a
site using the same url as has previously worked:

404 NOT FOUND

In capitals too - shouty shouty
Any ideas as to how I can get these sites up and running again without
killing my project server will be greatly appreciated.

RobGT: don’t worry websites are not gone. By installing WSS it has taken
over the management of these paths. You need to exclude these websites from
the managed paths in WSS. The following link should help you do this.
